The Café

The Café by the lagoon is open all year round.

Boat tours are operated daily from May 1st until September 30th. Boat tours in April, October and November are usually available. In May, September, October and November we are open from 10.00 to 17.00 h but in June, July and August we're open from 9.00 to 19.00 h every day. The last trip of the day usually departs around one hour before we close.

Outside the dates stated above you can try to call us at +354  478-2222 and see if we are open or not. In recent years we have been doing boat tours as early as the end of April and as late as the end of November, depending on the weather.

In the café by Jökulsárlón, you can get varieties of refreshments. Sandwiches, Coffee, hot chocolate and soft drinks.

In the café you can enjoy on our world famous Ice lagoon waffles or the seafood soup. The Café is open all year round except for some national holidays in Iceland.
