The restaurant Humarhöfnin is based on the ideology of preparing and serving local food. Our langoustine is caught by local boats operating from and landing on the pier you can see through the window. We buy our langoustine straight from the boat which guarantees freshness and quality. Our potatoes are grown in
Hornafjordur and delivered to us straight from the farms. We grow our own herbs on our windowsills and pick them fresh every day. The Arctic char comes from the farm Hali in Suðursveit and the lamb from the small town Kópasker in the nort-east of Iceland.

Fillet of lamb:
Oven roastet fillet of lamb w/wild Icelandic herbs and artic thyme, served w/salad, roasted vegetables and potatoes from Hornafjordur and creamy mushroom sauce.
Fish

Arctic char:
Grilled arctic char from Hali in Suðursveit, served w/ local potatoes, lemon sauce and salad.
Dessert
Skyr Biscuit:
Whipped cream and vanilla skyr on crunchy chocolate biscuit.

Creme Brulé:
Homemade classic Crème Brule w/real Madagascar vanilla and burned sugar crust.
