Jökulsárlón is a natural wonder with huge iceblocks floating on the lagoon right by highway no. 1! You can take a 30-40 min. guided boat trip on the lagoon, sailing among icebergs over thousand years old. A great opportunity for photographing! A small cafe offering refreshments and souvenirs is by the lagoon. It's wonderful to relax on the veranda and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The service is open from may 15th – september 15th. Skaftafell National Park 60 km., Höfn 80 km.
