Nýheimar

Nýheimar, knowledge centre of Hornafjörður. A field for creative collaboration between education, culture, innovation and pioneers. At Nýheimar there are conference facilities for 120 people, a good library, computer facilities and Wi-Fi, plus an excellent cafe-restaurant.

Country Hotel Smyrlabjörg 

Smyrlabjörg has two well-equipped meeting and conference facilities. The larger provides 80-100 seats, the smaller gives 20-50 seats. Along with standard equipment, there is a piano and accordian.

The facilities are also suitable for myriad other pursuits, such as choirs, handcrafts and other workgroups. Ideal if you seek a quiet environment and a perfect location to enjoy good company and beautiful natural surroundings.

Thorbergssetur, Centre of culture  

Conference room for up to 60 people with fully licensed restaurant – located in the cultural heritage centre at Þórbergssetur.

Daily menu, offering specialties such as locally raised arctic char (trout-like fish) as well as other traditional Icelandic foods. Thorbergssetur offers ideal facilities for both corporate meetings and smaller groups.
