What you learn young lives with you forever.

Many people have contributed to the work at Brunnhóll and Árbær over the years – at first with the general running of the farms, haymaking and childminding, in later years with the increasing workload at the guesthouse.  Apart from the children of the farms, the staff has largely been made up of young people from the district as well as students from abroad.  We have been exceptionally fortunate in the staff we have employed and they have all gone away the richer for their experience.  Granny and granddad now watch on in expectation as the youngest generation grow up and come to them for work experience.  What you learn young lives with you forever.
